Njål Pedersen is a Norwegian competitive cyclist specializing in cycling esports. He represented Norway and finished fourth at the 2025 UCI Cycling Esports World Championships in Abu Dhabi. Alongside racing, he creates cycling content and builds software for cyclists.

I’m Njål, a Norwegian cyclist racing in the virtual peloton and out on the road.

My focus is cycling esports: physical racing on a bike and smart trainer, with the competition taking place in a virtual world. I race on MyWhoosh and Zwift, and ride for Bergen CK.

In November 2025, I represented Norway at the UCI Cycling Esports World Championships in Abu Dhabi, finishing fourth in the men’s final. In September 2026, the Norwegian Cycling Federation selected me for Norway’s World Championships squad again.

Off the race course, I share cycling videos and build web applications. My background in data science connects those interests: I made NTOverlays to bring ride data into cycling videos, and a team time-trial tool for other riders.
